My dad left this world August 9, 2017. During my time of sorrow, I’m learning to trust God more and more. I will grieve in my own way. it may be now or later, the one thing I do know is God is in control, He knew this day will come long before I ever did. Sadness and sorrow can be so heavy and paralyzing but we can learn to depend on Jesus. You might struggle with this thought, but grief, guilt, and anguish can be a blessing. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4)
If you haven’t already, one day you will loose someone you think you can’t live without, and your heart will be badly broken, you may not get over the loss of your beloved, but I want you to know that they will live forever in your heart. Look to God the Author and Finisher of your faith, you will miss your loved one deeply here on earth, but you will see them again one day at our home in Heaven. Live life as God commands here on earth and Heaven will welcome you home when it’s your time.
