Obedience (n): the act of obeying: willingness to obey. We all have to obey someone or something at times in our lives. As mothers we expect our children to obey the rules of our homes and school. Our Heavenly Father expects the same from us. He wants us to be obedient to His Will, obey His Word and obey the laws of this land.
Even when going through tough times, God wants us to trust Him and obey His voice. God takes pleasure in rewarding us for being obedient. In the 28 chapter of Deuteronomy verses 1 through 14, God said to the nation of Israel, if they would hear His voice and keep His commandments, He would set them on high above all the nations. What is God telling you to do? Or not do? Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalt itself against the knowledge of Christ; (2 Corinthians 10:5). We can abort our blessings or delay them. What are you holding on to that God told you to let go? Is that thing (or someone) worth you giving up the blessings that God has for you. Is that thing (he or she) keeping you from becoming all that you can in Christ Jesus? I challenge you to read the 28th chapter of Deuteronomy, hear God’s voice for yourself, ask for instructions and listen attentively. Many blessings to you as you continue to seek His Face.
Sometimes obeying God is not what we want to do but it is necessary to receive His promises and His perfect will for our lives. If you are willing and obedient you will eat the good of the land. God knows whats besthe for our lives.
