Myrrh was one of the ingredients used by the priest and prophets to anoint and ordain people for the sacred service of the Lord, it’s a fragrant substance. It grows from a small stick-like shrub. Myrrh also has a bitter taste. But, once it is crushed a lovely and heavenly fragrance explodes. The more it’s crushed, bruised and beaten, the more the beautiful smell enlightens.

God is allowing you to go through your situation to bring out His fragrance. You will be a blessing to so many because you endured the crushing. Beloved, think it not strange concerning those fiery trials which are to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you. (Read I Peter 4:12)

The crushing will bring about God’s purpose.

I have endured many trials in my life, some of them I thought I would not make it through. Looking back I can now see that they were setting me up for who I am today (they had to take place). There were times when things took place back to back and I had to heavily rely on God. The very fact that I’m encouraging you through your tough times is evidence that I got this concept and I recognize that something great will manifest because of troubles. It did for me.

Go ahead and endure the crushing, please remember, Jesus said, “In the world you shall have tribulations, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

Name a time in your past when you were going through a tough time and now looking back you can see how that tough season in your life has brought about a great fragrance for your future.

    Let’s Chat About It.

I needed to hear this one. My crushung is happening as I write this post. Life is not as I thought it would be at this time. Because of this place it is forcing me to be patient, not being qick to get angry, learning how to love as God wants us to. Seeing the good and the negative side of life. It brings out the best in. I am pressing towards my best within me.
