During one of the most difficult trials that I had to face, I remember crying to God all night for answers, clarification and instructions. The next morning I got dressed for work, got in my car and drove 35 minutes without any remembrance of doing so. I don’t even remember stopping at red lights or stop signs (I’m sure I did, I just don’t remember) but what I do remember is pulling into that parking lot and saying Lord, I need a word from You. I opened my Bible and I came to this message; Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as through some strange thing happened to you: But rejoice inasmuch as you are partakers of Christ sufferings; that when His glory shall be revealed, you may be glad also with exceeding joy. (I Peter 4:12-13) I was in tears to the point that I couldn’t finish reading. Wise women, what I’m trying to convey to each one of you, that trial has to take place in order for God to use you. Yes, it may hurt like crazy but He will provide you that peace that exceeds all understanding.  Keep looking to Him, the author and finisher of your faith. He will not let you down.

I want you to take this time to examine your situation, ask yourself (What am I doing to follow God’s plan for my life?). Now, I want you to right down 5 things that will answer your question. It’s time to take your joy back. It’s time to live according to God’s purpose, you suffered for God’s Glory to be revealed, now follow His Will, get up and stop feeling sorry for yourself. Remember, it’s not what you go through, but how you choose to go through it. You suffered long enough.

    Let’s Chat About It.

I believe the suffering is over. All that I went through was my preparation. There were times I thought God had just forgotten about me but I realize he was getting me ready for my next level. He had to kill somethings in me so it would not kill me. I have found that part of the preparation is writing the vision and making it plain. I have found that the suffering is for you to discover the real you. Not the one you grew up knowing but the real you. The one that went through the suffering to get you there. All of what you are in search of is on the inside of you.

Keshia you are absolutely correct, write the vision and make it plain. To God be the Glory. You are an intelligent woman. I’m so grateful that God allowed us to cross paths. I have learned so much from you and I wish you the best in your future endeavors. You have suffered long enough, you know what you have to do…….just do it.

    Love you!
